CORE EVENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME

The main focus of your Advanced Diploma provides the fundamentals of event planning, coordination and delivery. Learn how to build planning timelines, develop budgets for events, apply project management principles to event planning, source, select and coordinate event suppliers, services and contractors, source and recommend venues, undertake event feasibility studies, set goals and evaluate event success measures, develop risk assessments, apply health and safety legislation, undertake client consultations, develop sponsorship packages, produce sustainable events, understand event production and promoting and marketing events.

MARKETING STREAM

Your Marketing studies support your event management skills as you'll develop a knowledge and understanding of the marketing functions that every event manager should be familiar with.  Learn about market segments and identifying opportunities for new products/services and how to exploit new market opportunities. Understand how competitor activity may affect projected sales performance, and how to use market analysis to inform market strategy development. Learn how legal, regulatory and ethical requirements relate to the business of selling or marketing and gain insight into key requirements for leading a marketing team.
