About the event

Experience of working with couples directly means that the Sustainable Wedding Alliance know that couples wish they had a greater choice when it comes to sustainable (and ethical) suppliers.

As people become increasingly aware of climate change, and start to understand what their impact on the environment truly is we know this want, that clients have, will soon turn to a need. But it’s not just about consumer demand.

As responsible business owners or managers, we all need to take a look at the way we run both our businesses and the events and weddings we produce.

For many it’s a daunting task, but it doesn’t need to be. Sustainability isn’t just about making a few simple changes, it’s about adapting the way your business works, understanding the relationship between your business and our planet and balancing the two. Sustainable principles should run through all elements of a business.

Michelle Miles from the Sustainable Wedding Alliance joins us for a 'Fireside Chat' to share how the Sustainable Wedding Alliance help businesses introduce sustainable practices and shares a few insights into best practice and trends.
