Students
International students can apply to study with us on programmes of up to six months.*

​Depending on your country of origin or nationality, different visa requirements may apply. E.g. You may need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) or a Standard Visitor Visa.

Please check your eligibility to study in the UK (for up to 6 months) and the requirements that apply before applying.
Applicants are fully responsible for their own visa applications and for ensuring they meet any and all visa or entry requirements.

For clarity, we are not sponsors for International 'Student Visas'. Our courses are not appropriate for applicants seeking to obtain a 'Student Visa' ​​e.g. as needed for courses over 6 months.

If you are an Irish citizen then under Common Travel Area (CTA) you can study and work in the UK.
​
Some nationalities, within set age limits, can apply for a Youth Mobility Visa and then work and study while in the UK.
​
If you are already in the UK on a residence visa, work permit or graduate visa you should be able to take any of our courses - always check your visa/permit restrictions first before enrolling.

Important
​​Even if you are granted a visa or an ETA to come to the UK for up to 6 months, you may still be asked at the border to prove that:

​you’re able to support yourself during your stay

you’re able to pay for your return or onward journey

you’ve arranged accommodation for your stay

and that you’ll leave the UK at the end of your visit

​Remember to check how long your passport needs to be valid for. ​ Unless you are on a work visa - you will not be able to do work during your stay. And you won't have access to public funds.You are also likely to need travel insurance to cover any health care issues or treatment that arise during your stay.

​Make sure you know what you can and can't do and that you have thoroughly understood the requirements of your visa
About Working
Our international students are not permitted to work while in the UK nor undertake internships. (Assuming you are attending on an ETA or Standard Visitor Visa.)
As an alternative, depending on your course, we provide exposure to a range of industry practice. Our full-time courses include industry excursions that may include venue visits, showcases, symposiums, site tours, live events, networking, demonstrations, industry events and guest speakers. Most short courses include venue site tours hosted by leading London venue and event professionals.

And you can still participate in any live event planning and delivery that's included in your course as a curriculum activity run by the school.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation will be one of your largest expenses and the right (or wrong!) choice can make a significant impact on the comfort and the enjoyment of your London experience.

For professional attendees on short courses, there are a number of hotels within walking distance to us - search here.
For students on full-time courses, we highly recommend considering student residences. They specialise in student accommodation and are familiar with the needs of students.​​

Closest to us: Drapery Place, Aldgate Residence and Spitalfields (Aldgate); Venti House (Stratford); Ark (Canning Town) - but most residences are very accessible to us by tube, rail or bus.
​
When choosing accommodation, as well as considering if you like the room, the building and location - check the public transport options. London has excellent public transport but be aware, it's a large city and you need to think about your travel time to a) classes and b) social, leisure, shopping and other facilities.
​
