Today, our students visited Two Temple Place for a site tour of one of London’s most distinctive historic venues. The visit gave students the opportunity to explore how heritage spaces are used for contemporary events, while gaining practical insight into venue operations, event planning, client expectations and the details involved in delivering memorable guest experiences. A sincere thank you to Shanice and Lauren for sharing their time, expertise and industry knowledge with our students. We would also like to thank Siobhan Craven-Robins, Lead Lecturer in Wedding Planning, for organising the visit and creating another valuable opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with professional practice. Site tours are an important part of learning at The Event School London. They allow students to ask questions in real event spaces, understand how venues operate and learn directly from the professionals working within them. What is it really like to study sports event management in London? Meet Guilherme from Brazil, who joined The Event School London to explore careers in sports, venues and major events. During his course, Guilherme visited some of London’s best known stadiums, arenas and event venues, including Wembley Stadium, Chelsea FC, London Stadium, Lord’s Cricket Ground, the London Velodrome, London Aquatics Centre, Copper Box Arena, Olympia London and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
