Welcome to the Student Experience

A first look at Graduation 2026 at The Event School London, celebrating students completing the Higher Diploma in Event Management and Advanced Diploma in Event Management. The private graduation ceremony took place on Thursday 1 October at Novotel London ExCeL in the Royal Docks, bringing together graduates, lecturers, family and friends to recognise their achievement and progression within the events industry. For students considering full time event management study in London, graduation represents where that journey can lead. The Event School London offers practical, industry focused event management education, including our one year Degree Alternative in Event Management. The programme is designed for career starters looking for an alternative to the traditional university route and combines Level 4, 5 and 6 event management study with live event planning and delivery, industry visits, specialist electives, career mentoring and internship experience. Students study in London’s Royal Docks, close to ExCeL London, one of the capital’s major international conference, exhibition and event destinations. Our Degree Alternative includes Ofqual regulated ATHE qualifications in Event Management and is designed to help students build professional knowledge, practical experience and a stronger understanding of the events industry as they prepare for their careers. Today, our students visited Two Temple Place for a site tour of one of London’s most distinctive historic venues. The visit gave students the opportunity to explore how heritage spaces are used for contemporary events, while gaining practical insight into venue operations, event planning, client expectations and the details involved in delivering memorable guest experiences. A sincere thank you to Shanice and Lauren for sharing their time, expertise and industry knowledge with our students. We would also like to thank Siobhan Craven-Robins, Lead Lecturer in Wedding Planning, for organising the visit and creating another valuable opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with professional practice. Site tours are an important part of learning at The Event School London. They allow students to ask questions in real event spaces, understand how venues operate and learn directly from the professionals working within them. For our summer students, each visit provides a focused opportunity to build industry knowledge and develop a stronger understanding of London’s events sector. Learning events in London means learning from the venues, people and places that help shape the industry. #TheEventSchoolLondon #EventManagementStudents #EventManagementCourses #StudyEventManagement #LondonEventVenues #TwoTemplePlace #SiteTour #EventIndustryEducation
