From Student to Industry Ready -Celebrating Our First Ever Digital Student Ambassadors Journey into Events.

We are proud to celebrate Dima’s successful completion of the Advanced Diploma in Event Management with The Event School London.

Dima has been an integral part of our community, not only as a dedicated student but as our very first Digital Student Ambassador. From the outset, she approached her studies with professionalism, curiosity and a genuine passion for the event industry. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to fully engage with every opportunity made her a pleasure to teach and an inspiration to those around her.

Studying at the heart of the event industry at Novotel London ExCeL, just a short walk from ExCeL London (London's international exhibition, conference &n event centre), Dima experienced first-hand what it means to learn in a live, working events environment.

Being based within one of London’s most active event districts gave her daily exposure to large-scale exhibitions, conferences and live events, reinforcing classroom learning with real-world context.

Throughout her course, Dima took full advantage of the experiential learning opportunities that define The Event School London. From site tours and venue showcases to industry excursions and live events, she gained insight into a wide range of event settings, formats and operational approaches. These experiences allowed her to see theory brought to life and to better understand the realities, challenges and excitement of working in events.

Dima’s learning journey was shaped not only by our highly experienced lecturers but also by the many industry professionals she met along the way. Engaging directly with practitioners gave her valuable perspectives on career pathways, professional standards and the evolving nature of the events sector. This combination of academic rigour and industry exposure has equipped her with a strong foundation for the next stage of her career.

As she moves forward with ambitions to create and deliver her own events, we are confident that Dima will bring the same creativity, drive and professionalism that she demonstrated throughout her studies. She will be greatly missed by staff and fellow students alike, and we look forward to following her journey as she builds her future in the event industry.
