Roger Hooker from FormulaE on why Event Health & Safety Matters.

Popping in to a virtual class on a Saturday, we couldn't love him more! Thank you Roger Hooker for calling in to The Event School London this morning to speak to our students and trainers.

Roger is the Event Operations Director at the ABB Formula E FIA World Championships and we asked him to share his views on why Event Managers should be taking Event H&S seriously - and why risk assessment should be high on the list of an event manager's priorities. Roger shared examples from his current role and past roles at Wembley and overseas and our students were learnt from his real life examples of when things go wrong...and right!

Thank you to Roger for his ongoing support of new talent into the industry.

(Roger had been speaking with Certificate in Sports Event Management and Certificate in Festival Management classes)
