From completing her Certificate in Wedding & Event Planning with Siobhan Craven‑Robins in 2018, Juanita took her first confident steps into the industry as an Event Assistant with Think Events London, where she contributed to high-impact projects including Croydon Pride—supporting logistics, community engagement and on-the-day delivery for one of London’s most vibrant cultural celebrations.

That formative experience cemented her passion for inclusive, meaningful events and laid the groundwork for a career that bridges event strategy, local regeneration and enterprise support.

Now a Business & Enterprise Officer at Richmond & Wandsworth Councils, Juanita champions innovation and growth across the boroughs—designing and delivering initiatives that support entrepreneurs and independent businesses.

Previously, as Local Growth Officer, she revitalised the Business Against Crime scheme in key hospitality and retail districts, and earlier, as High Streets Officer, she led regeneration efforts on Battersea High Street—driving stakeholder collaboration, placemaking strategy and community activation.

Juanita’s work is characterised by her ability to integrate multi-agency partnerships, deliver grassroots-led regeneration, and champion diversity and inclusion through her planning. With a background that spans live events, civic innovation and enterprise leadership, she brings a rare blend of empathy, operational clarity and cultural intelligence to every project.
