Why Choose a Career in the Wedding or Party Industry?

We think there is nothing more rewarding than working in the wedding and party industry! The passion, glitz, and glamour - the wedding and party industry has so much joy to offer those who choose it as their professional path. And the opportunity to meet couples in love and play a role on their special day is a very special privilege.

Careers in Wedding Planning

With the wedding industry worth around £15 billion every year it's an industry that offers opportunities to passionate, dedicated professional planners. Wedding planning is more than glamour and beautiful setting though. It's hard work, months of meticulous detailed planning, staying on top of administration, calming frayed tempers and soothing nerves! However, knowing you played a part in creating a dream wedding makes all the hard work worth it.

Train to become a wedding planner

It's certainly a career full of variety with two days rarely the same!

Wedding planning  graduates can be found working as wedding planners, wedding stylists, wedding designers, event planners, party planners, social event planners, venue coordinators, in-house wedding planners, wedding directors and event organisers.

While many wedding planners choose to work for themselves, there are plentiful opportunities to find employment with wedding and event venues, organisers, design & production companies and with specialist wedding vendors.
