The Year in Detail!
2025. Celebrating 20 Years of The Event School London
2025 marked a defining milestone for The Event School London as we celebrated our 20th anniversary. Two decades of delivering premium, career-focused education to the global events industry is no small achievement. Our journey reflects vision, adaptability and a deep understanding of an industry that continues to evolve at pace.
From our London base at the heart of one of the world’s most influential event cities, we remain proud to set standards for excellence, innovation and leadership in event education.
Student Success and Global Journeys
Our students continue to be the measure of our success. In 2025, learners impressed not only with their dedication but with the breadth of their professional journeys, from earning while learning to launching careers across the UK and internationally.
This year we introduced our Where Are They Now? series, celebrating graduate success stories and showcasing the diverse pathways our alumni have taken. These real-world outcomes underline the value of industry-led education grounded in practice and professional relevance.

Their collective expertise continues to enrich classroom learning with real-world insight, credibility and ambition.
Industry Immersion Through Site Tours
Experiential learning remains central to our approach. In 2025, students took part in more than 150 site visits across London, gaining first-hand insight into event operations at some of the capital’s most iconic venues.
Just a few of these were to Olympia London, The Oval, The Ned, Great Scotland Yard Hotel, Sandown Racecourse, Sunborn Yacht Hotel, ExCeL London, Central Hall Westminster, Cutty Sark, Queens House, Fulham FC Event Centre, InterContinental London, The Andaz, Home House Members Club, The Old Marylebone Town Hall, The Haymarket, The Lansdowne Private Members Club Mayfair, London Marriott Hotel County Hall
These experiences provide an unparalleled understanding of how events operate behind the scenes and at scale.
Students Mixing with London’s Leading Planners at Industry Events
Our students continued to engage directly with the industry through attendance at leading trade shows, showcases and networking events for event industry professionals.
Highlights included Cvent Europe Connect, The Event Production Show, International Confex, The Meetings Show, Sustainable Events Show, London Christmas Party Show, London Summer Party Show, Wedded Wonderland, BMA House Showcase, National Association of Wedding Professionals Networking Events, MICE Expo, Leading Venues of London showcase, BAFTA 195 Piccadilly Showcase, Carnival of Creativity at Ministry of Sound, National Wedding Show, Asian Wedding Show, The Showman’s Show, British Educational Travel Association Networking Event, World Travel Market, RSA House Showcase, Guides for Brides’ 30th Anniversary and Event Tech Live.
These moments place students firmly within the professional ecosystem from the very start of their careers.
Live Events Through an Event Manager’s Lens
Throughout 2025, students attended a wide range of live consumer and trade events, experiencing them not as spectators but through the eyes of an event manager.

These included the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Festival, London International Horse Show, The Luxury Travel Fair, Hospitality Tech /Hotel & Resort Innovation Expos, The Adventure Travel Show, DTX Digital Transformation, The Business Show UK, Brand Licensing Europe, MOVE 2024, London Marathon Exhibition, The Formula 1 Exhibition, Going Global Live, Working From Home Live, Salon International, Elvis Evolution, International Food and Drink Exhibition, The Pub Show, The Cafe Show, Hospitality Tech Show and the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Show.
These visits encouraged critical observation of audience flow, production, supplier coordination and visitor experience, giving students practical insight into how successful events operate in real-world settings.
Academic Excellence and Quality Assurance

We proudly marked four years of continued recognition with awarding body Training Qualifications UK. This milestone reinforces our commitment to high-quality learning experiences, robust academic standards and credible qualifications aligned with industry needs.
And, in December 2025, we achieved centre recognition with ATHE Awards for Training and Higher Education, enabling us to deliver Ofqual regulated Level 4 to Level 7 Diplomas in Event Management and Sports Management. These accredited qualifications represent the gold standard for career starters, university alternatives and full-time professional study, reinforcing our commitment to credible, high-quality education with real industry value.

Broader Access, Greater Impact
This year saw the introduction of new scholarship opportunities designed to widen access to high-level training. By opening doors to aspiring event professionals from diverse backgrounds, we continue to strengthen the future of the industry and ensure talent, ambition and potential remain at the heart of what we do.
Future-Focused and Trend-Informed
Staying ahead of industry change is central to our mission. In 2025, we expanded our focus on AI literacy, workforce readiness and sustainability as core professional skills. Full-time students benefited from our new AI for Event Planners workshop, while AI for Education expert Amanda Bickerstaff joined us as a guest speaker for our Industry Advisory Board, contributing valuable insight into future-facing education and skills development.
Inspiring the Next Generation

Throughout the year, we met future talent at London Job Shows in Stratford and Shepherd’s Bush Westfield.
These events allowed us to share career pathways, industry insight and opportunities with aspiring event professionals taking their first steps towards the sector.
Excellent Reviews and Student Praise
Student feedback remains a powerful endorsement of our approach. Across in-person, live virtual and online study modes, learners consistently rate their experience with The Event School London as excellent, reflecting the quality of teaching, support and industry engagement they receive.
Capturing Professional Views from Industry
In 2025, we launched Professional Views, "Why I Love Events" a short-form video series featuring leading voices from across the events industry.
These conversations capture personal journeys, professional insight and a shared belief that event management remains one of the world’s most exciting and dynamic careers.
Breaking Borders and Building Global Futures
This year, we proudly welcomed students from 32 different nationalities, reflecting our commitment to diversity, inclusion and global perspective. Studying in London, one of the world’s most multicultural cities, our students learn alongside peers from across the globe, building networks and futures that extend far beyond the classroom.
Digital Student Ambassador Programme. Real Voices, Real Experience

In 2025, we introduced our new Digital Student Ambassador Programme, designed to offer prospective students an authentic, student-led view of life at The Event School London.
Reflecting our commitment to transparency, community and meaningful connection, the pilot was led by Dima, a student on the Advanced Diploma in Event Management, who shared honest insights into studying in London, balancing learning with professional development and experiencing the events industry first-hand.
Through digital content, behind-the-scenes moments and reflective storytelling, the programme brings the student experience to life in a way that is relatable, credible and set to play an increasingly important role in how future students engage with the school.
Event School Electives. Choice, Focus and Career Direction
In 2025, we introduced our Event School Electives across full-time programmes, an exciting development that has proven extremely popular with students. The elective structure allows learners to tailor their studies, explore specialist areas of interest and build a more personalised pathway through their education.
By offering choice and flexibility alongside a strong core curriculum, our electives support deeper engagement, clearer career direction and a more individual learning experience. This approach reflects the realities of a diverse and evolving events industry, where specialism, adaptability and strategic focus are increasingly valued.
As we close 2025, we do so with pride, gratitude and ambition. Twenty years on, The Event School London continues to evolve, inspire and lead, preparing the next generation of event professionals for meaningful, global careers in an industry that never stands still.
