We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Event Management Degree Alternative Programme, starting 16 February 2026.
Designed for the next generation of event professionals, this programme offers a credible, practical alternative to a traditional university degree, without compromising on quality, recognition or ambition.
For students who want to build a career in events through hands-on learning, industry experience and face-to-face teaching in London, this programme provides a clear and structured route forward.
A modern alternative to university
The Event Management Degree Alternative Programme leads to accredited ATHE Level 4, Level 5 and Level 6 Diplomas in Event Management via one cohesive pathway.
The Level 6 Diploma sits at the same academic level as a UK bachelor’s degree, offering reassurance to students, parents and school advisers that this is a recognised and respected qualification route.
The programme is vocational, immersive and career-focused, designed to prepare students for the realities of working in today’s dynamic events industry.
Learning in the heart of London’s events scene
Delivered face to face in London, students study three days per week (10-4) and benefit from an environment that places them close to real events, venues and industry professionals.
Learning is supported by site tours, showcases, networking opportunities and live industry exposure, allowing students to connect theory with practice from the outset.
Alongside the regulated qualifications, students develop expertise and confidence through specialist Event School electives and a professional CPD-certified diploma.
These additional elements allow students to specialise or explore areas of interest such as corporate events, festivals, weddings, luxury or sports events, digital marketing or entrepreneurship, while strengthening their professional skillset.
