The Event School London has announced the launch of its new Postgraduate Events Programme, a six-month postgraduate alternative designed for graduates and professionals seeking advanced, career-focused training in event management.
Launching on 16 February 2026, the programme leads to the ATHE Level 7 Diploma in Event Management, an Ofqual-regulated qualification recognised at academic Level 7, the same level as a UK master’s degree. The programme has been developed for those who want to progress or reposition their careers without waiting for a traditional September intake.
The new postgraduate programme reflects The Event School London’s long-standing commitment to practical, face-to-face education rooted in industry practice. Delivered in London, it offers an applied alternative to conventional postgraduate study, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking, leadership development and real-world relevance.
In addition to the regulated Level 7 Diploma, students complete four Event School London electives, allowing them to explore or specialise in areas such as corporate events, luxury events, festivals, sports events or weddings. The programme also includes the school’s professional start-to-finish CPD-certified Diploma in Event Management, providing hands-on training in planning and delivering events from concept through to completion.
This combination ensures graduates develop both postgraduate-level strategic capability and practical application skills, equipping them to operate confidently within a competitive global events industry.
The programme is open to UK and international applicants and is aimed at graduates, career changers and professionals who are ready to move into more senior, specialist or strategic roles within events, hospitality and related industries.
To support the launch of the programme, a limited number of Founding Students Scholarships are available for the first cohort. These scholarships offer fee support to early applicants who are ready to progress their careers through this postgraduate alternative. Scholarship applications close on 31 December, and early application is encouraged due to limited availability.
